J. Anthony Maynor started Maynor Heating & Air Conditioning in 1996, earning a loyal customer base through his commitment to excellent customer service one customer at a time. The Maynor name became synonymous with value and quality, establishing Maynor as a preferred Apex Service provider.
In February 2019, Anthony Maynor sold the business to its current owners, focusing full time on HVAC training before rejoining the Maynor Team as a Certified Trainer in 2020. With his return, we’ve achieved our goal of continuous, expert-led education and training for our employees. We’re proud to dispatch the best in the business to your home.
Maynor Service Company purchased Twin Heating & Air, another locally owned and operated company, in July of 2019. Like Anthony Maynor, the owner of Twin Heating & Air, Tom Sosdian, had a history of providing phenomenal service to his customers and understood that his employees were the greatest resource. Most Twin employees continued their employment at Maynor, and the tradition continued.
In April of 2020, Maynor Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. acquired Accu-Air Heating & Air Conditioning in Durham on Comfort Lane. Open since 1989, family-owned Accu-Air’s reputation for personalized service and quality workmanship built a reputation of excellence in Durham and the surrounding area. We are also factory trained and authorized dealers by Trane, ClimateMaster and Earthlinked Technologies for geothermal heat pump systems.
